Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organization behind Sesame Street, has partnered with Impelsys to convert as many as 900 of over 5,000 published Sesame Street books into eBooks. Impelsys has empowered Sesame Workshop to offer a whole new reading experience to their readers through The Sesame Street eBookstore, which is run and managed by Impelsys.

Leveraging iPublishCentral, Sesame Workshop now offers content in the most innovative, engaging and user friendly formats appealing to both children and their parents, as well as complements their ongoing print publishing titles.

The online portal offers more than one hundred eBooks with new titles being added on a regular basis. The eBooks feature audio narration, interactivity and animation bringing popular Sesame Street characters to life. These digital versions aim at enhancing the reader experiences and aid in the understanding of life lessons and educational curriculum. As part of its non-profit venture Sesame Workshop also offers 5 free eBooks on its Free eBook site, available at any time to its fans.

Through this strategic alliance, Impelsys and Sesame Workshop aim to provide engaging, educational media that will help children reach their highest potential.
