Laerdal and Impelsys Sign Agreement to Make Groundbreaking Mobile Virtual Healthcare Simulations

Impelsys, a global leader in providing electronic content delivery solutions to the publishing industry has signed an Agreement with Laerdal, a world leading provider of training, educational and therapy products for lifesaving and emergency medical care. With this collaboration, Impelsys will help recreate Laerdal’s interactive module in their courseware to HTML format for mobile devices.

“Learning platforms today are being changed by the growing mobile population, and we need to be able to deploy our learning solutions on the customer’s platform of choice. As a result, delivering high quality learning on mobile devices is a high priority for Laerdal. The learning technology developed by Laerdal represents the leading edge of virtual simulation for healthcare education. Students interact online in realistic patient-provider encounters providing treatment and therapy to patients in a safe environment. The solution evaluates the student’s performance and generates a personalized feedback to enhance learning.
