Business Case

The client, a global leader in events, digital services, and academic knowledge wanted to upgrade their existing safety operating model training program. The goal was to make the training program more engaging and interactive, and reduce the seat time of the course from four to five hours to two hours.

The Solution

Impelsys had a detailed discussion with the key stakeholders to understand the client’s needs and challenges. The existing content was broken down into nine modules and a sequential learning pattern was introduced. By adopting a bite-sized learning approach and using engaging visuals, the seat time of the program was reduced and thus increasing the learner engagement.

Outcome

By deploying the new microlearning modules, the client was able to reduce the total seat time from about five hours to two hours. The revamped self-paced training program provided better learner engagement, to learn at their convenience, and improved retention of learning.
